Genshin Impact, Concord, Apex Legends, Lego Horizon Adventures
Passion Games is the games-focused arm of PASSION PITCTURES, creating cinematics, trailers and look development that expands worlds and deepen fandom. Recent work on Genshin Impact, Concord, Apex Legends and the Lego Horizon Adventures universes reflects their belief that game audiences respond to strong world building, confident visual identity and storytelling that stretches across platforms.
In this session, MD Lucie Friar and CG artist Idris Honnor explore how that same approach shaped 400 Boys, PASSION’s contribution to Netxflix’s Love, Death & Robots. Working with director Rob Valley, the PASSION Studio used CG to support and enrich his distinctive 2D technique, adding another layer without altering the essence of his hand-drawn world.
Although the anthology isn’t based on games, it speaks their language: bold visuals, shared fandoms and stories that reward immersion. 400 Boys shows how PASSION Games brings its hybrid, human-led craft to both game worlds and the worlds they create from scratch.
